An "As Expected" Wednesday Night

Nothing Earth shattering happened on Wednesday night despite a high number of games involving bubble and bracket teams. The biggest surprise might have been the bubble teams that lost. Richmond, Toledo, and Indiana State all saw their chances of making the tournament dwindle down to their conference tournament championships. West Virginia may not be dead but it is awful close after losing at Iowa State. And Baylor's resume took another hit with another loss, though like WVU, they lost on the road against a good team, Texas.

The Bracket Is Starting to Close...Bubble Teams, Watch Out!

Teams like Missouri, Dayton, and St. John's who are sitting on the bubble can't afford losses this close to Selection Sunday. But there they were on Tuesday night, losing games they could have won to help solidify a bracket spot.

Syracuse and Kansas Survive a Slow Monday Night

Needed a break after all that great weekend college basketball action? Then Monday was the night for you, which had a couple of close calls but nothing that would actually change the bracket happened.

An Important College Basketball Sunday For Major Conferences

Sunday's college basketball slate included only a handful of games, but several, at least four, had a major impact on the bracket and bubble landscape. From the East Coast to the West Coast, it was a Sunday worth mentioning, especially since Selection Sunday is now a mere 3 weeks away.

Twenty-Two Days from Selection Sunday, College Basketball Heats Up

What a day! We knew that there were a lot of terrific matches coming on Saturday, but the action exceeded expectations. Many games had a major effect on the bracket from top to bottom.
