NCAA College Basketball Naps During the NFL's 17th Week

With Week 17 in the NFL underway, college basketball was smart to not put any marquee games on Sunday. Still, there were a few games of note. Drexel fell further off the bubble, perhaps permanently, and Notre Dame nearly added a dreadful loss to its at-large resume when it needed overtime to take out a mediocre Canisus.

Otherwise, the games went as expected. The scores below are the ones you need to be watching as they involve teams who will either be dancing on Selection Sunday or may find themselves just off the bubble.

@Dayton 72, Murray State 51
Buffalo 55, @Drexel 52 - terrible road loss for Dragons, who fall further off bubble
@Wichita State 81, Davidson 70
@Oregon 97, Morgan State 76
@Florida 76, Savannah State 34
West Virginia 82, William & Mary 45 (in Charleston, WV)
@UAB 69, Alabama A&M 57
@St. Joseph's 73, Boston U 67
@Creighton 90, Chicago State 58
@Notre Dame 87, Canisus 81 (OT) - Irish underwhelming again in OT escape
@USC 82, Howard 60
Georgia Tech, @Charlotte 55 - both teams off bubble, but RPI-implicating game
@Maryland 85, Tulsa 74
@Stanford 79, Cal Poly 62

College basketball is still in a bit of a lull as the college football bowl season takes center stage this week. Still, there are some games worth keeping an eye on, including finding out whether Toledo will stay one of the NCAA's last eight unbeaten teams when it travels to Kansas for an incredibly difficult game.

Rice at Texas
Robert Morris at Oklahoma State
Charleston Southern at Florida State
VMI at Clemson
Virginia at Tennessee - best game from a bracket standpoint
NC State at UNC Greensboro
Oral Roberts at Baylor
Toledo at Kansas - can the Rockets remain unbeaten at KU?
Louisiana Tech at Oklahoma
Ole Miss at Western Kentucky
San Francisco at Gonzaga
Saint Louis at Vanderbilt
BYU at Pepperdine
Saint Mary's at Pacific
